These are images from the Grade 10 wood cut unit that lasted about 3 months. Students researched a topic of interest based on world conflict or problem. In the first part of this unit, students created woodcuts inspired by a particular image of their topic. After the woodcut process and printing, the woodcut images were then used for a digitalized propaganda poster that the students later created with a slogan and title, and uploaded to social media. The comments and conversations developed through social media were then used in their written reflections on the topic.
